Zachariah Johnson is a young artist concentrating in watercolor, pen & ink, and mixed media works on paper. His medium of choice is the micro pen and he uses them exhaustively to describe a world of ghouls, monsters, and misfits – the shady characters of everyday life, but just hidden from normal view.
I like the Acid In The Ice Cream series because of the color contrast used. A large portion of the pieces are either shades of gray or white, but the focal point of the pieces lies at the heads of the subjects. There is a beam of colors that explodes away from the subjects, which kinda reminds me of a sci-fi movie.
The series also features a number of pieces on cut wood. These are two of my favorite works from the series:

Once again, my brother put me on this video. I’m beginning to really consider making my brother a co-author for this blog ‘cuz it seems like every other day he’s putting me one video or song.
The video is directed by Oren Lavie, Yuval and Merav Nathan, and it features Shir Shomron. I really like these stop motion style music videos, and I’m thinking about making one of my own.

I peeped this over in my bro’s room yesterday, and I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw it. I think there’s some truth to this poster… but it doesn’t hold true for everyone.
Either way, I think I might actually go see this when it comes out.
Kid Cudi is definitely on his come up, but ‘Ye kills it on that freestyle. Now I’m on a f***ing mission to find that song.
For some reason when I saw this video I thought of a line from Yeezy’s verse on E-40′s Tell Me When To Go (Remix):

This song is the s**t. The whole So Far Gone mixtape is the s**t. Drake is a beast! He murders every f***ing track on the mixtape.
I take my listening sessions very seriously, so whenever I listen to a new mixtape or album I always make sure I’m paying full attention. When I listened to this track I played it back no less than 30 times before I got to the end of the song… NO LIE!
This track is fire! I know I say that a lot, but Drake kills it. I don’t care whether or not this song goes mainstream, he needs to make a video for it ASAP!

Flud watches are the s**t! They have a lot of creative designs for their watches, like the Boombox Watch and the TableTurns Watch.
The Cartridge Watch is my favorite mostly ‘cuz of its design and color. It also comes in black, but the black one really looks like s**t. No offense to Flud of course.

I just got the new Bobby Valentino album, The Rebirth, and that s**t is pure FIRE! This is probably the only album, besides Ryan Leslie’s album, where every song is a 5-star song.
Bobby Valentino always has the best intros for his albums, but the intro for The Rebirth is on some other s**t. He definitely should’ve made it a full track ‘cuz this s**t is knockin’ (I said this about the intros for his two other albums).
Aight. Let me cut the bulls**t. Listen for yourself and tell me if this doesn’t set the tone for the rest of the album.
