more about “ROBIN THICKE – SEX THERAPY (VIDEO)“, posted with vodpod

Robin Thicke is such a f@!%#ing G. Very few contemporary R&B artists walk in the same lane as this man right here. His has a unique sound and his appeal has next to no boundaries.

This song demonstrates Thicke’s vocal prowess and easily marginalizes the music of many mainstream R&B artists. I’m a fiend for some good ol’ R&B and some of my music cravings have been satisfied since hearing this song.

Aside from the music, the ladies in this video are the real treat. Take a look for yourself.

more about “STRAIGHT NO CHASER (CONCEPT VIDEO)“, posted with vodpod

This is my favorite song off Mr Hudson’s upcoming album Straight No Chaser. I’m still tryna figure out who produced this song, but my top source – Wikipedia – hasn’t been too helpful.

I came across this video on none other than Kanye West’ blog and I was completely blown away. The video is by Matt Perri, or at least according to vimeo it is, and he did a great job with the video editing. You would think this was an official video the way the different scenes match up almost perfectly to the song lyrics.

I don’t know about you but this video has definitely awoken my inner producer, so don’t be surprised if you see a concept video by yours truly sometime soon… lol. I would post the mp3 for the song but my respect for Mr Hudson’s musical talent prevents me from doing so.

more about “YOUNG DRO – TAKE OFF (FEAT. YUNG L.A.)“, posted with vodpod

I’ve been a Young Dro fan for a while and I was really looking forward to his career, but it didn’t take off as I expected (no pun intended), but he’s back with another hit.

The song is on point; the video is on-point; the swag is on-point. What more could you possibly ask for?

Feel free to spazz out to this s**t while I work on getting MOMB fully functional again.

P.S. – My favorite line in the song is “I’m a westside boi yeah potna potna potna…”

I usually don’t do this, but this is a special mother@!%#ing occasion. DJ RL is killin’ right now.

Every single DJ out there right now needs to step their game up. DJ RL is most definintely the youngest in charge and I don’t give a f**k who thinks otherwise.

I was over at WorldStarHipHop “The CNN of Urban Media” like two days ago doing my daily online rounds when I came across this video, which I’m not even about to get into.

Long story short, the song(s) playing in the background of the video are probably the hottest f@!%#ing b’more songs I’ve heard in a minute. If you haven’t figured it out the songs are by DJ RL.

My favorite song is by far “Put It Down.” It’s a remix of K-Swift and DJ Blaqstarr’s “Hands Up, Thums Down” b’more classic.

For those of you who don’t know, “Hands Up, Thums Down” is the s**t and if you’re not on it you need to get familiar.

Anyways, “Put It Down”‘ is a mix of “Hands Up, Thumbs Down” and Trey Songz “Last Time.” If you haven’t heard the song you’re probabaly wondering WTF is going on.

This song is FIRE, no lie. The mixing and blending on this track is ridiculous!

He also has a couple other notable songs but “Put It Down” is by far the hottest. I actually don’t have the song in mp3 so I have to go to his myspace every single time I wanna listen to that s**t.

Click here to go to his myspace. I actually just found out that today is also his birthday, so you can support him by heading over there.

Black Eyed Peas are back!

I’ve been a fan of B.E.P for as long as I can remember and I honestly thought that once Fergie came out as a solo artist it was the end of B.E.P. as we knew it.

I am glad I was wrong. This song didn’t grow one me until very lately, but I am officially in love with this song after seeing the video early Sunday morning.

This is the best video of 2009 so far. B.E.P. always comes out with the flyest videos and they came hard with this one.

I’m done… see if for yourself.

I’ve been a Zion I fan for a couple years now, and they always seem to impress me with each new work they put out. A couple days ago I was over at Kanye’s blog and I saw the video for “Geek To The Beat.” It’s so f@!%#ing dope. I have no idea who came up with the concept for the video, but I can definitely say it’s on some other s**t.

As mush as I want you to see the video, I also think you need to listen to the song to get an idea of Zion I’s sound. For those who don’t know, Zion I (pronounced “Zion Eye”) are a hip hop duo from Oakland, California. “Geek to the Beat” is off their latest album The Take Over.

Zion I – Geek To The Beat

The video really does justice to the song and you’ll probably appreciate the song a lot more after seeing the video.

more about “LIL WAYNE & YOUNG MONEY – EVERY GIRL“, posted with vodpod

This is my favorite song and video out right now… probably because it features two of my favorite artists: Weezy + Drizzy. I didn’t know what to expect for the video, but they did a good job with the animation and pop-up words.

Click here to see the video in it’s full view.

I’ve been working on my graphic design lately, so I decided to make a cover for the “Every Girl” single.

The video was very playful so I decided to carry that theme over to the album artwork and I really like the outcome.

I’m feeling really generous so I decided to drop two mp3 versions as well.

The guys over at made an online tool for the Daft Punk console, and no lie, I spent the first 30mins after I saw this trying to recreate Kanye West’s hit, Stronger.

To people who might not be big fans of Kanye West, or Daft Punk, this might be a rather useless application, but to everyone else this is the s**t. This makes me wanna get the futuristic Daft Punk robot and helmet costume and rock out to this s**t.

The console is really easy to use. All you have to do is place your headphones (or speakers) and click on the buttons or tap on the keyboard letters as shown on the screen.

Apparently, there’s an iDaft application for the iPhone and iPod touch in the works, so be on the look out for that as well.

This is one of my favorite videos out right now. Honestly, when I heard this on the radio I was kinda skeptical but the video did a number on me.

The entire video is a joke but that’s what makes the video. I haven’t seen this on TV yet but MTV and VH1 need to get on this.

For all you cudder lovers, feel free to eat this one up while we wait till his album drops.

This video is drippin’ with so much swag. Rick Ross is definitely back… not that he ever left in the first place though.

I like the concept of video and I’m interested in finding out who produced the video.

By the way, John Legend does his thing on this one.

*Bonus* I think it’s only right that I let you have this song.
