Honestly, this is not even my style but this s**t definitely looks appealing though. I just peeped both of these over at one of my spots (I think I need to stop saying that unless I’m disclosing where I actually saw it.)

The olympic white ones got me with the suede and inner side zip stunt… that’s mad fresh. I don’t think I know what I’d wear with those but I still think they’re fresh.

The dark blue canvas/rubber sneakers are just on some other s**t. I feel like they’re a cross of some Fonzworth Bentley and Taz Arnold s**t. Either way I think they would look fresh with my other pile of sneakers.

For whatever reason, I’m starting to feel like there aren’t any sneakers out there that really appeal to me these days. Another thing might be that I’m looking in all the wrong  same places.

Either way I’m feeling these two though.

AAGH!!!… I’ve been MAD busy with classes and a whole bunch of other s**t, so I haven’t been able to post anything in the past 5 days, which is life 5 blogger years.

It’s only the second week of school but I feel like mid-terms are just around the corner or some s**t. Honestly, this is bulls**t. I wanna say I’ll be back “soon” but that almost doesn’t sound right.

No worries, MY OWN MOTHER@!%#ING BLOG will be up and running again later today. No but for real it seems like I haven’t posted anything in almost a month… and s**t like that just doesn’t fly.

I’ll be back…

P.S. – I didn’t mispell f**k in the post title. I intended to do that… I’m just saying.

TAKING LESSONS: “When Blogging Goes Wrong”

OK, so after I got back from the bank today I decided to do my daily rounds of web surfing and I came across something very interesting over at Complex Blog. Complex Blog made a post on a rather “hilariously bad” blog, run by someone you might be familiar with. This person is Aaron Reid… some of you might have seen him MTV’s My Super Sweet Sixteen.

Anyways, according to Complex blog, “his blog is exactly what you would expect from a kid who grew up around rap stars… Then there’s the other stuff: the bragging, the thoughtless thought posts, the odd advice columns. So before he continues along this path to Ridicule Road, we thought we’d lend a hand and impart some knowledge on the young blogger, and to bloggers everywhere, about what not to do with their personal blogs. Pay attention.”

I decided to see if I was making the same mistakes dude is making by reading Complex Blog‘s top five things NOT to do if you’re a blogger. Luckily, I’m actually not making any of the mistakes Aaron Reid is making with his own blog. After reading that post I think it’s important to make a few things clear.

First off, I’m not some rich kid who’s here to brag about the things I don’t deserve. Second, my blog is not centered around me, it’s rather centered around the things that interest me. Finally, if you feel like I’m not staying true to myself and I start doing any of the things Complex Blog says not to do with a personal blog, please feel free to call me out. I enjoy constructive criticism.

Don’t get it confused I’m not hatin’ on this dude. As a matter of fact, I respect his grind (whatever his grind is), all I’m trying to do is be a true blogger and stay a true blogger. Shouts out to Complex Blog for making use of that teachable moment.

Booty, Sweat, and Tears

Vodpod videos no longer available.

more about “Booty, Sweat, and Tears“, posted with vodpod

This video is probably mad old to anyone who’s seen Tropic Thunder, or maybe not. It’s funny how I still haven’t this movie but I’m obsessed with it.

Some of you might know Brandon T. Jackson from Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘n Out TV show or the movie Roll Bounce. He’s one funny as mother@!%#er.

In the movie Tropic Thunder, he plays the part of “shameless self-promoting rapper” Alpa Chino. This video is a short clip showing Alpa Chino promoting two of his products (a chocolate bar and an energy drink), while one of his songs plays in the background.

*WARNING* This video is for mature audiences.

Had to ge that out of the way. This video is not intended to be offensive in any way. For those who understand the nature of the movie Tropic Thunder, or are familiar with Brandon T. Jackson, this video will be extremely funny. Otherwise do not take offense to this video.

For more hilarity, visit Alpa Chino’s myspace or his website. Too funny!

In the words of Jan Jurgen, “Mr. Chino’s commercials say more than anything I myself could capture on film…”
